Fed won't take risks with inflation: Fed's Guynn

Reuters - Core inflation may have already
breached its acceptable upper level and the Federal Reserve
must be ready to reset policy if the outlook has indeed
worsened, one of its top policy-makers said on Wednesday.
Dow ends below 11,000

 Reuters - U.S. stocks fell on Wednesday, with
the Dow industrials closing below 11,000 for the first time in
three months, in a sell-off driven by persistent worries about
the economy and higher interest rates.
Procter & Gamble stands by forecast

 Reuters - Procter & Gamble Co. on
Wednesday stood by its fiscal fourth quarter earnings forecast
of 52 cents to 54 cents a share, the forecast it gave in May.
H&R Block fourth-quarter net falls
(Reuters)
Reuters - H&R Block Inc. , the largest
U.S. tax preparer, on Wednesday said its fiscal fourth-quarter
profit fell 4.5 percent, reflecting a sharp decline in mortgage
earnings and a restructuring charge.
SEC said eyeing auditors in stock option probe
(Reuters)
 Reuters - The U.S. investigation into
corporate stock option timing abuses is expanding to look at
the role of outside auditors, said sources close to the probe.
